Samyang's 50mm F1.2 AS UMC CS is a wide angle manual focus photo lens for mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensor sizes. With a significantly bright F1.2 aperture, the lens creates bright, crisp images and impressive bokeh even with mirrorless cameras. The 50mm F1.2 is a multi-purpose lens, especially useful for portraits photography. Samyang's 50mm F1.2 AS UMC CS has a low F number (F1.2). allowing you to precisely control the lens when shooting under various exposure environments including relatively dark situations. This lens features 9 elements in 7 groups including 2 glass aspherical lenses (ASP) to offer high resolution throughout the image. Samyang's Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) is used to optimise the light penetration and minimises flare and ghosting. 0.28m minimum focusing distance helps to capture the object in close proximity. The lens features 9 aperture blades which are designed to be almost a full circle when the aperture is closed. This produces starlike rays clearly and beautifully. The solid frame of the lens is constructed from high-strength aluminium alloy which allows the lens to be lightweight, yet strong. A detachable petal-shaped lens hood further minimises flare and ghosting by sheltering the lens from unwanted stray light. Available for 4 mirrorless camera mounts: Sony E, Micro 4/3, Fuji-X and Canon M.
